Electrostatic Powder Coating

Electrostatic powder coating is a coating method which was started to be used in Europe and America in 1960s, and arrived to Turkey in late 1980s. Although wet paint applications are being used for a longer time, it started to be widely used within a short period of time and achieved significant figures in terms of manufactured quantity. This coating method is particularly used for protecting the metal surfaces, and giving them a decorative appearance.

Powder coating technology is also being used in coating glass, ceramic, wooden, and even plastic surfaces as a result of the developments in recent years. The environmental and application advantages of powder coating made it popular in the coating industry. Powder coating is applied with electrostatic powered guns, and cured under relevant curing conditions.
